Rick Breckenridge is the Montana Libertarian Party Deputy Treasurer and Lake County Central Committee Chair. He is a professional land surveyor, which he views as a “marking a line where a person’s rights end and another’s begin.” He is a champion of personal rights, campaigning on the slogan: “Whatever you ask the government to do for you, they can do to you.”

Rick previously ran as a replacement candidate for U.S. House in 2016 following the death of longtime MTLP Chair Mike Fellows. Rick has been a major part of the Montana Libertarian Party, and for his principles and perseverance, the MTLP proudly endorses Rick Breckenridge for U.S. Senate.

Elinor is a wife, mother of four, and attorney in Billings, Montana. Her parents were both in the medical field before they retired and she met her husband in medical school, although she chose a different path after the first year. The evidence-based, "First, Do No Harm" mentality of medicine deeply influences her political views. She believes every peaceful, honest person has the right to live free, and the law should defend that individual against any person or government - whether at the state or federal level - who would intrude on that freedom.

Libertarian Candidate, Clerk of the Supreme Court
Roger Roots was the 2016 and 2012 candidate for Montana Secretary and 2014 candidate for U.S. Senate. He holds a Juris Doctorate and a PhD in Sociology. Most recently, he served pro bono as a legal aide for the Ryan Bundy Defense team— a case that was dismissed with prejudice against the United States.

Francis is a solider, actor, and natural leader. He was appointed Chair of the Montana Libertarian Party in April of 2018, previously serving as the Treasurer. He is an avid supporter of individual rights and has studied the economic structure of Montana with that in mind. A military veteran and current Montana National Guardsman, he views his oath to the Constitution to be his most important platform.

Francis has been a member of the Libertarian party since 2011. He first ran for office in 2016, in House District 61, and he was also a 2016 state director for Gary Johnson’s presidential campaign. Cindy Dyson (Whitefish)

Cindy grew up in Alaska as the daughter of a prominent state Republican. She and her husband, by happy accident, settled in Whitefish 22 years ago. She raised her family there, conducted research, and wrote her novel. She was a grassroots leader in support of Ron Paul in 2012. She is running on priorities of criminal Justice Reform, Environmental collaboration, and ethical election practices.

Cindy Dyson is a published writer, mother, and Ron Paul activist. She helped shape the reconstruction of the Montana Libertarian Party as a drafter of the bylaws, Chair of The Flathead County Libertarian Party, and Secretary of the MTLP. She is a tireless advocate for women’s rights, and the MTLP proudly supports her candidacy for Montana House.
Sid Daoud (Kalispell)

Sid is a Montana native from Great Falls with deep ties to the early pioneers in Montana on his mother’s side. His father’s family were Armenian immigrants, greatly balancing his perspective. After 13 years of service in the US Army, he settled in Kalispell in 2006. In 2016, he joined the Libertarian Party and has climbed to a leading role in the party, representing Montanans as a delegate at the Libertarian National Convention this past summer.

Sid ran for Kalispell city council in 2017, is the Second Vice Chair of the Montana Libertarian Party, and spent a great deal of time recruiting candidates for 2018. Kathryn launched into her campaign with a strong desire to represent the interests of her neighbors and the people of rural Montana. She lives in one of the most sparsely populated counties in Montana where she runs multiple businesses with her spouse from their home. She believes that the recent tumultuous politics is hindering our ability to engage the government, and she wants to work to solve that problem.
